Patients may be able to participate in this study if the child is:

36-107 months of age (3-8 years)

Characterized as undernourished by their physician
Why Undernutrition Matters
Research has shown that undernutrition in children results in slower weight and height gains, less interest in being physically active and difficulty concentrating. In extreme cases, poor nutrition can lead to increased risk of illnesses. This clinical study will observe the effects of adding a fortified nutrition shake along with dietary advice in children behind in growth. During the 4-month study, you and your child will receive two nutrition counseling sessions with a trained dietitian.
