Javara Welcomes Michael Smith to Lead Commercial Team

WINSTON-SALEM, NC, March 13, 2023 – Javara, a leading Integrated Research Organization (IRO) focused on delivering access to clinical trials at the point of care, has appointed Michael Smith as Chief Commercial Officer.

Smith brings nearly three decades of experience in the life sciences industry to the role, having held various leadership positions across the biopharma, site management, and CRO industries. Most recently, Smith spent 21 years at Syneos Health, where he played a significant role in building the organization through his expertise in business development, asset development, and demand generation. Prior to Syneos, Michael worked for one of the industry’s first SMOs, where he gained a deep understanding and appreciation for the importance of clinical research sites and the patients they serve.

As the leader of Javara’s Commercial Team, Smith will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive organizational growth.
