Chris Olson has served as Controller at Javara since 2019 where he leads the company’s accounting, treasury, financial reporting and compliance functions. Chris has played a key role in scaling financial operations to support rapid growth, guiding Javara through strategic decision making, budget planning, and the development of strong accounting processes and internal controls. Chris’ expertise is in GAAP accounting, operational efficiency, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis. Chris has a collaborative leadership style, strong attention to detail, and an ability to navigate complex financial challenges with clarity and precision.
Previously, Chris spent 10 years with Big Four and national accounting firms working in healthcare and manufacturing & distribution industries, providing assurance services to clients, including assistance with financial reporting and financial process improvements.
He received a B.A. in Economics and a Master’s in Accountancy from UNC-Chapel Hill and is a Certified Public Accountant.
